PL Day 17 - 125.0 (-1.6, LDW +12.2)

Wow, well that was a nice release! It was so good going to bed last night, knowing I didn't have to be afraid of what the scale would say today. I'm happy to say that I had a similar day today, calories about 1438, so I feel good about that.

I am contemplating whether to just wait until May (or at least after next TOM), in order to give myself a chance to see what clean eating and exercise could do for me. Thanks again to Tam for writing such a thought provoking comment on my post yesterday!

PL Day 16 - 126.6 (-0.2, LDW +13.8)

Not bad at all. If I did that every day, it would be a 1.4 loss for the week (which was my norm on conventional diets).

Today I came in at 1400 calories, it was a fish day (not a corrective day, just a coincidence lol). Lunch was a tuna melt great recipe (slightly tweaked, a little less tuna, a little more egg, and pepper jack cheese instead of swiss) that I found on one of my favorite blogs, Escapefromobesity. PL Day 15 - 126.8 (-1.1, LDW +14.0)

Well, while that wasn't the best result I've gotten from an apple and cheese day, but I'm not going to complain about a pound!

It was a fun day, took the puppy to his training class this evening, had a couple of dog walking visits today, and lots of work with the other half. And I'm feeling a tad better, which is good. Weekend Update

Day 11 - 124.6, Day 12 - 128.0, Day 13 - 127.4, Day 14- (today) 127.9

As you can see, it was a wild ride this weekend, lots of eating out, TOM, cold meds (yes, I have another cold).

Today has been an almost perfect apple and cheese day, so I'm hoping things will shift tomorrow on the scale in a downwards fashion.

All I can say at the end of this weekend, is that for me, Sonic is a no-go. That 3.4 gain was the day after we ate there. Crazy! It probably was residual Cheesecake Factory

PL Days 9 & 10

Two days of releasing, I'm thrilled! I didn't do anything special, in fact I felt like I was always eating, but it was mostly healthy things, higher in carbs than in a long time (including a bagel each day!). Annnnd the sushi strikes again! This was actually a lot less than I anticipated gaining, probably because I pumped back the water last night, determined to minimize the damage.

We were away for the weekend, and while I made (for the most part) the healthiest choices I could, junk was definitely eaten, and drinks were had, so I am considering a 1.4 gain not bad, and will get rid of it as soon as I can.

PL Day 3 - 123.6 (-0.2, LDW +10.8)

Not a bad day over all. Did I make it to the gym? No. Despite going to bed at 11:30 last night, the other half didn't come to bed until 3am, which I didn't notice, but when he got up again at 4:30am, that was it for me. And while I didn't get up until 9am, the sleep was poor. So, all that to say I was totally exhausted all day, and not up for the gym. I'll go tomorrow, take Sunday off, and keep at this new routine next week.

Phase Life - 123.5 (-1.0, LDW +10.7)

Thanks to Jessica for the term for this phase of my journey!Today ended up being higher calorically than I'd intended, but I'm shaking it off and moving forward. Wow, gotta love those 2 pound losses!

Amanda, I think you were right, that it had to do with inflammation from the run, thanks for that comment, it made me feel not so much of a failure as I was blaming myself for eating throughout the day! Days 57-59

Days 57 and 58 I stayed exactly the same at 123.6, Day 59 I zoomed up to 126.5.

My apple and cheese day went nowhere, not sure why it had no effect. But it can't always work I guess.

Day 58 (yesterday) was my race day, I ran 5K at 33:47 (and that was with a potty break! I am soooo proud of myself and can't wait till my next race). Day 56 (today) - 123.0

So, the last three days have been basically maintaining. Today has been the lowest calorie wise, at 1301, yesterday I was holding strong at 1250 u til hunger overtook common sense late at night, I ended up at about 1800 (some sugar, mostly cheese). I am hanging tough today, determined to stay put where I am today.

Days 51-53

Day 51 -124.1 - Today was an apple and cheese day.

Day 52 -122.1 - Today was an over all balanced day, calorically I came in at 1517. I had a couple of sweet snacks, and will be working on keeping that to a minimum.

Day 53 (today) - 122.1 - Today has also been balanced, my snacks were predominantly cheese. I came in at 1518 calories, which for weight loss is really too high, I need to be around the 1200 mark. Working on this!

Yuck, another half pound gain, but as I said yesterday, I tweaked a bunch of stuff yesterday, and learned a lot, so it's okay (sort of lol).

Days 48 & 49

Day 48 - 123.6 (+1.3), Boy that was not good! I'd been incredibly hungry the previous day, no doubt TOM related (since it's now here).

Day 49 - 124.4 (+0.8), In addition to the weight increase this morning, today started not-so-well, with my left eye glued shut! I had to pry it open with a warm washcloth. Well, after the novel that yesterday's post turned into, it's clear that I need to get back to daily blogging!

The chicken day yielded a nice result, with a 1.2 pound loss. It's a tad monotonous, but it certainly worked.
