Holding Steady

Well, here I am at 125.3, lost a whole 0.4 in a week lol.

No complaints really. I want to be losing weight, but at least I now know what maintenance needs to look like. My typical day lately has been 3 coffees in the morning, (with 2 TB cream in each), lunch is a nice sized salad with my homemade sugar free ranch dressing, and a protein (a lot of the time that's a couple of hard boiled eggs with a bit of butter in them, or leftover meat from the previous night's dinner). Ups and downs

Well, I certainly wasn't planning on letting six days go by without posting. Life is what happens when you're making other plans, I guess.

It took me the whole of last week to go from 126.4 to 122.9, and then we went out Saturday night, drinks were had, but the scale was slightly lower the next morning. As if I Needed Proof!

Sorry about the long absence... last week was going fairly well, my apple and cheese day got me a half pound loss, and for the rest of the week I was hovering between 120-121.

Then came the weekend. We had a 50th birthday party for a friend (staying overnight at her house), so I decided to relax and eat what was offered and have some celebratory drinks. Anyway, Saturday night, and Sunday (we were still at her home) yielded a 5 pound gain.

A better day

Today's weight was 121.1, better.

My apple and cheese day has been a good one, with the exception of having 4 slices of sugar free bacon. Other than that, and cream in my morning coffee, I've had a good day. Calories are around 1400.

Moodwise, today has been a much better day. I'm still upset about a few things, but I'm making a point of turning my attention away from the negative. Just breathing, finding the joy and beauty in things. All is well. Not perfect, but better, well.

A long overdue update

Wow, six days since my last post - how the heck did that happen?

Well, the upshot of things, is life got busy, I was "trying" to eat Sugar Free, gaining slowly, but to my credit, eating clean, just too much. I was also trying the whole getting up at 5am to go to the gym (with only 5 hours sleep since the other half keeps us up till midnight most nights, I am NOT a no sleep girl). Yes, I am in a mood. Sorry.
